**The James Brand Chapter** is a compact and incredibly sleek pocket knife. Made for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts. People who appreciate the beauty of minimalism. No-nonsense, not too much, not too little.


The sleek silhouette of the Chapter might remind you of a Finnish Puukko. But a hyper-modern folding version. The designers at James worked hard to remove all unnecessary frills.


This new version of the Chapter is enhanced with some technical improvements. Ball bearings are added around the pivot and the titanium framelock is enhanced with a steel lockbar insert. Both improvements are so subtly applied that you don't notice them visually, but immediately feel them when you use the knife.



The blade is made from CPM S35VN. An incredibly popular type of steel that has been used for years on premium pocket knives. Incredibly tough, relatively easy to sharpen and it retains its sharpness well.



Titanium has been used for years as a light-weight, strong and flexible construction material for high-tech purposes. The fact that James made the handle from titanium is therefore an excellent choice. Titanium feels great in hand and is also very sustainable.


The pocket clip is wide and long. A unique design, not often seen in the world of pocket knives. It makes sure that you don't lose the Chapter on the road. At the same time you can also use it as a money clip.


Bright-green accents are a part of The James Brand's style. The fact that the thumb stud, which you use to easily open the knife with one hand, is enhanced with this colour is therefore not that surprising.


Not only the knife looks amazing. The box is also perfect in all its simplicity. A milled wooden box in a tight cardboard sleeve. The knife also comes with a felt storage case. Again with that bright green James accent.
