Everyone who sharpens their knives on water stones will recognize this sentiment: when you finish sharpening your knife your entire workstation will be soaking wet. This Shapton Sharpening Pond is the answer! It is a tub with a rubber edge that will collect all your sharpening water. As such you will not be turning your working station into a swimming pool, and, at the same time, you will always have water around to dampen your stone. However, in order to use this Sharpening Pond you will need a sharpening stone holder. This will serve as the base for the holder.

This is a fantastic product and really helps to make the experience of knife sharpening enjoyable. Goes perfectly with the Shapton sharpening stone holder (50200). Heavy and sturdy, helping to keep everything in place, this feels like a premium item. If you're into sharpening as a hobby, this is totally worth the investment and feels like it'll last for years.
