 The **Optimus Fuel Bottle S 0.4 litres** is a seamless fuel bottle made from extruded aluminium. Perfect to compactly and safely transport liquid fuels. Due to a unique hardening process these bottles are strong and sustainable but surprisingly light-weight. 


You always need to keep in mind that liquids expand. Also, you need to build up pressure in the bottle. The liquid fuel needs to become a gas before it provides you with a proper flame. That is why you should never fill the bottle over the indicated maximum, in this case 300 ml. 


The screw thread has a standard size. As such the bottle is suited for all Optimus multi-fuel gas burners such as the [Optimus Polaris Optifuel gas burner](/en/pt/-optimus-polaris-optifuel-gas-stove-also-for-other-fuels-8019229.htm) and all other burners with a standard screw thread. You can easily fill and empty the bottle thanks to the wide opening. Enhanced with a screw cap with child lock. 


Burners that work with liquid fuels are mostly popular amongst travellers who visit areas where gas tins are difficult to find or travellers who visit extremely cold regions. High in the mountains, for instance. And you are not forced to use one type of fuel. A liquid fuel such as benzine can be bought anywhere in the world. And with one litre of benzine two people will have enough for one week.
