The **Opinel Intempora carving knife no. 227, 20 cm** is a kitchen knife that might remind you of the famous Opinel pocket knives. It's a reliable knife that enables you to work efficiently. The stylish plastic handle makes the knife look very elegant.

## Navy blue POM handle

The beautiful marine handle is made from polyoxymethylene, or POM for short. This is a strong type of plastic that is enhanced with glass-fibres. This makes the knives shock resistant and heat resistant. 

## Strong Sandvik 12C27 steel

After the success of the Parallèle collection, Opinel also used Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel for the Intempora collection. This steel has a high carbon content. It can be sharpened easily and won't rust. Swedish decency with French flexibility: an excellent combination!
