The **Ochsenkopf OX 18 H racing axe** was specifically designed for contests. This axe is perfectly balanced. The shape and design meet the competition standards and the axe has an ascending serial number. The cutting surface is razor-sharp and finely polished. This axe comes with a leather sheath to protect the cutting edge.

 ## Ochsenkopf OX 18 H-1206 axe handle

 The handle is made from a type of top-quality wood: Hickory wood. This North-American type of wood is tough and won't break easily. Perfect for absorbing blows without breaking.

 The three safety wedges guarantee an immovable attachment between axe head and handle.

 ## Maintenance Ochsenkopf axe

 The right maintenance extends the life of your axe. For that reason you should always correctly store your tools. A storage place that is too dry will dry out the handle. However, a storage place that is too humid will make the handle swell which could, in time, damage the fibres of the wood. If you are planning to store your axe for a longer period of time it is wise to protect the cutting surface from rust. All you have to do is apply a little bit of oil or fat on the cutting surface. Afterwards protect the edge with, for instance, a sheath and you are good to go.

Un hacha muy bien acabada y perfectamente equilibrada. Se maneja con mucha facilidad. Muy recomendable.

Bon produit esthétiquement parlant et a l usage. Fend très bien coupe nette   mais arrivé avec des points de rouille sur la lame manche très exposé aux coup en 1 utilisation il a déjà quelques impacts.
