You can really tell that the experts at Maserin worked on this knife by hand. The blade is made from 420 steel. Stainless and easy to sharpen yourself. You open the blade with two hands. When opened the blade is blocked by a slip joint. Not an actual lock, but simply a resistance to prevent the knife from spontaneously closing.
