The **Lupine Wilma R7 helmet light** is, with its 3200 lumens, brighter than two car head lights. You, of course, also don't want to blind the people around you which is why you should only use the maximum light output if it is really necessary. And with a length of only 5 cm this helmet light is truly a compact hulk. The design of the aluminium body ensures the heat is evenly distributed and, because you are using an individual SmartCore Li-Ion battery, the weight is also evenly divided. As such this helmet light is also suited for extreme activities such as off-road mountain biking, off-piste skiing and motocross racing. It is, however, also suited for mountaineering, rescue operations and professional use.

## How to use the Lupine Wilma R7

The Wilma 7R can easily be used via a large switch. This switch was designed as such to make sure you can also easily use it while wearing gloves. Click it once and the light will immediately start to shine. To switch between the light modes you quickly press down the switch. But because this helmet light is enhanced with bluetooth, you also have two other alternative options.

### Lupine Wilma R7: Remote

A remote control on your handlebars or ski poles is great. With the mounting system you can directly mount the remote control on the frame. The rubber strap ensures that it is properly secured on every frame with a diameter of 25.4 mm to 35 mm. Also great: this remote works fast and is completely wireless. As such you also don't run the risk of ending up with a cable in between your spokes.

### Lupine Wilma R7: App, Lupine Light Control

You use the Wilma R7 with your smartphone. Simply download the Lupine Light app for Android or Apple and you are good to go. But with this app you don't only control your light. You can determine the desired light modes, see the technical information of the light and activate a low voltage warning. As such you will always know where you stand. 

### Light modes for the Lupine Wilma R7

With the Wilma R7 you can set up four light modes and one extra function. You can choose from ten different light modes and four additional functions: SOS, FLASH, slow flashing light (RVLR) or the Alpine distress signal. Please note: the SOS and Alpine functions are emergency signals. If you abuse this function you are punishable by law, so only use it during an emergency. ## Lupine 6.9 Ah SmartCore Li-Ion battery

The Lupine Wilma R7 derives its power from the included 6.9 SmartCore Li-Ion battery. You can charge it with a 220V cable or with the [Lupine USB charger](/en/pt/-lupine-usb-charger.htm). The R7 is enhanced with an extension cord with which you can store the battery on a comfortable place. When you go mountain biking, for instance, you attach the battery to your frame or shirt with the velcro closure. For mountaineering, you need to take temperature into account. Extremely cold temperatures will discharge a Li-Ion, causing it to unnecessarily lose power. As such you could end up finding yourself in the dark in an emergency situation. That is why you should store your battery in a warm place. Think of the inside pocket of your jacket.

Want to know how full the battery is? Press the button of the battery once and a battery indicator will show you the current battery voltage. As such you can find out how full or empty the battery is. But even if you store the battery in your inside pocket, or on your frame you will hear this signal. The amount of beeps you hear equal the amount of visible LED lights.

The remote control and the helmet light also contain a battery indicator.
