The **Kershaw Shroud 1349** is a seemingly simple pocket knife that opens quickly. When opening the knife with the flipper or thumb stud the blade is supported by an *assisted opening* mechanism. This is a spring that, as you push the thumb stud, gets to work and opens the blade. As such you can immediately get started.



Because of its appealing price this knife does not belong in a showcase. It is meant to be used. The stainless steel handle feels great in hand and the blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel. A simple stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. Also good to know: you can easily sharpen this type of steel. As such you will neve leave home with a blunt knife.

Prodotto ottimo e ben imballato. Per colpa del corriere ho avuto problemi con la consegna ed il pacco é tornato indietro. Ma il servizio clienti é stato rapido e gentile ed ha subito organizzato una nuova spedizione senza costi aggiuntivi.

Een assisted openend mes dat met 1 hand Niet te openen is, misschien een fout exemplaar maar ik heb deze terug gestuurd...

Grundsätzlich ein gutes Messer für unter Dreißig Euro, allerdings macht die Feder des Öffnungsassitstenten das Öffnen am Anfang derart "steif", dass ich die Daumenpins nicht nutzen kann und sich das Messer nur mit dem Flipper in einer fließenden Bewegung öffnen lässt. 

The flipper is amazing but the studs are almost impossible to use for me - the assisted opening makes it very stiff to open. 
The action sounds really good too.
