The **HORL 3 Cruise HO3C-SET knife sharpener** is the basic sharpener of the HORL 3 knife sharpeners. It's suitable for sharpening your European kitchen knives, Japanese kitchen knives and even your pocket knives! The diamond-coated sharpening disc ensures that the edge of your knife is quickly straightened out at a fixed sharpening angle. Turn the sharpener over and use the stainless steel part as a honing steel. With the HORL 3 Cruise your knife will quickly be as new again!

The HORL 3 Cruise is a stylish knife sharpener made from #tide Ocean Material®. This unique material consists of 100% recycled plastic, taken from rivers and beaches before it reaches the ocean. Not only does it make the HORL 3 Cruise a sustainable knife sharpener, but it also creates a beautiful, sand-coloured look. 

## HORL 3 Angle Support and Grip Pad

The magnetic Angle Support is the included block to which you attach your knife. This block always keeps the knife at the desired sharpening angle. Thanks to the HORL Grip Pad, the magnetic Angle Support now offers 70% more grip than the previous HORL models, allowing for better gripping of kitchen knives and even small pocket knives. 

### HORL 3 Cruise sharpening angles

Unlike the previous model, the HORL 3 Cruise has 2 sharpening angles. Use the 20° sharpening angle for sharpening European kitchen knives and pocket knives for long-lasting sharpness. You use the 15° sharpening angle mainly for Japanese kitchen knives that require a thin and razor-sharp edge. The HORL 3 Cruise is the ideal knife sharpener for those who prioritize sharp, durable edges on their kitchen knives. 

## HORL 3 Cruise abrasive material

The HORL 3 Cruise has one diamond-coated sharpening disc with a medium grain size that uses the HORL Block Diamonds. This ensures effective and consistent results. Excellent for making your dull knives sharp once more. The other side has the stainless-steel Honing Disc. Like a honing steel, you use this disc after the diamond-coated sharpening stone to refine the edge of your knife and to keep it sharp. Both sides are permanently mounted and cannot be replaced.

We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
