## The Fiskars XA2 sappie.


This **Fiskars XA2 sappie** is great when lifting and transporting small logs of wood. When designing this sappie one paid close attention to light-weight performances (it weighs only 246 grams) and excellent grip. Use this sappie with one or two hands. The hook-shaped steel blade ensures you have enough grip over the wood. The sappie comes with plastic protective cover with which you can easily take it with you or hang it from your belt.


## The Fiskars X21 splitting axe


The **Fiskars X21 splitting axe** is a splitting axe with a wedge-shaped axe head. The head will quickly push the wood apart and will help you to quickly and effectively split medium-sized and heavy logs or firewood. This splitting axe is a full-size axe that is meant to be used intensively.


Traditionally speaking an axe comes with a wooden handle. Fiskars, however, decided that even an old type of tool like an axe can be improved. The fibreglass reinforced plastic FiberComp handle of a Fiskars axe is stronger than a handle that is merely made from wood. Tests have shown that while a wooden handle breaks a FiberComp handle will simply carry on. The axe head is integrated in the handle and will therefore not let go. The handle absorbs vibrations and increases the grip and the comfort as you use the axe. Fiskars is so convinced of the quality of this concept that all axes come with a lifelong warranty.


The axe head is enhanced with a smooth coating that ensures the axe can easily be removed from the wood. This coating is very sustainable. The price of the axes is relatively low, the life and quality, however, is as good, or even better than that of much more expensive competitors. 


This axe comes with an innovative plastic sheath that can easily be attached, can handle moisture and is easy to carry with you.

Erg mooie kwaliteit en doordat het niet te zwaar is vanwege het lichte , maar toch de sterke van het materiaal zeer makkelijk in het het gebruik en het doet alles aan wat beschreven word aan de producten.

Ik had al een kleinere kloofbijl van Fiskars, maar deze is voor het iets zwaardere werk. Voldoet prima. De hansappie kende ik nog niet, maar is eigenlijk ergonomisch onmisbaar. Het gebruik ervan spaart de rug enorm.
