The **CRKT M16** is probably the most iconic CRKT model ever designed. This knife, which was designed by Kit Carson, is an homage to the M16 assault rifle, and has been around for quite some time. This M16-01Z features a spearpoint. You can open it with one hand by using the thumb stud. A liner lock then locks the blade in place. Because the flipper serves as a support for your finger when opened, slipping and ending up on the blade is almost impossible.

The M16 knife has an InterFrame construction with strong nylon scales that are enforced with glass fibre. The result is an incredibly strong handle that feels great in hand. Perfect for everyday use.

Unique about Z version of the M16 is the AutoLAWKS safety system. It is basically a double lock making it almost impossible to accidentally close the blade. As such, the CRKT M16 Z is almost as strong as a fixed knife.

You can easily open the knife with the help of the Carson Flipper. This flipper also protects your fingers after opening the blade. The CRKT M16-01Z has a practical pocket clip, so you can easily carry it with you every day.
