Spyderco SpyMyto C265MTI: 2023 Flash Batch produced by LionSteel
The Spyderco SpyMyto C265MTI 2023 Flash Batch is a special pocket knife. It's a variation of the popular LionSteel Myto, designed by Michele 'Moletta' Pensato. This unique knife, produced by LionSteel exclusively for Spyderco, combines the best of both brands and marks their long-term collaboration.
Features of the SpyMyto
The SpyMyto features a blade made from M398 steel, an improved version of Böhler-Uddeholm's M390, known for its exceptional hardness and abrasion resistance. The hollow-grind, drop-point blade has a rounded spine and is fitted with Spyderco's trademark thumb hole as well as a removable flipper. The action is super smooth thanks to the ball bearings. The handle consists of a green micarta handle scale on one side and a titanium scale on the other, which incorporates the Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism. This frame lock includes a hardened steel lockbar insert and overtravel stop. Both scales have carefully crafted textures and are held together by a backspacer. A reversible deep-carry pocket clip makes the knife suitable for both left-handed and right-handed use.
Spyderco Flash Batch knives
Spyderco’s Flash Batches are unique, one-time-only releases of new designs, never to be replicated again. Unlike Sprint Runs, Flash Batch models are extremely rare, often limited to just a few hundred or thousands of units. This makes them highly coveted collectibles in the knife world.
