Launched today! The Grailer 4 designed by Michel Timmermans

Today at the Have A Knives Day #24 customer event, we are launching the new Grailer 4, a collaboration between Knivesandtools and designer Michel Timmermans! This beautifully designed folding knife is made to the highest standards from premium materials by one of the world's leading knife manufacturers: WE Knife. The design is based on Michel Timmermans' Genesis 2.1 custom knife.

About the Grailer 4

The Grailer 4 features a 3.5" (8.8 cm) blade made of American CPM 20CV steel, known for its excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance. The handle is made of titanium liners with titanium bolsters and backspacer. The bolsters are fastened from the inside with screws, just like the 3D-milled pocket clip, creating a sleek, screwless look. The Grailer 4 opens quickly with a flipper and ceramic ball bearings. A liner lock with a hardened steel insert ensures a lifetime of rock-solid lock-up.

Grailer 4 Carbon Fiber

The Grailer 4 is available in two versions: a sleek version with a two-tone satin blade, bead-blasted titanium handles with OD-Green G10, and a darker version with an acid stonewashed blade, blackwashed titanium, and streamlined carbon fibre handle scales. The pivot rings match the handle materials of both versions. Each Grailer 4 knife comes in a special Grailer X Maxpedition pouch.

About Michel Timmermans

Michel Timmermans, a Dutch knife maker from Brunssum, Limburg, discovered his passion for knife making after a career as a plumber. With a background in mechanical engineering, he started more than eight years ago with simple tools but quickly invested in better equipment. Michel has refined his craftsmanship by experimenting with various materials, such as rag micarta from military gear and vintage bakelite. He strives to create knives that are not only beautiful but also perform excellently. From his workshop in the basement of his hotel, he creates unique knives. His pursuit of authenticity, quality, and uniqueness has earned him a loyal clientele, mainly in America, where handmade knives are highly valued.

The Grailer 4 is being offered for the first time at the customer event and will also be available on the website afterward!
