In just one month, the goal of $13,000 was reached, and ultimately over $115,000 was raised with the support of 477 backers. Agawa Canyon, with the experience gained during the BOREAL saws campaign, carefully prepared the production. The ADK26 is the result of extensive testing, countless prototypes, and refined designs. Thanks to the support of the Kickstarter community, Agawa Canyon can now offer this innovative axe to a wider audience!

About the Agawa Canyon ADK26 Axe

The Agawa Canyon ADK26 Transforming Camp Hatchet & Forest Axe is a two-in-one axe: compact as a 35 cm hand axe, and once you click the additional handle in place, it becomes a strong 66 cm forest axe!

The axe head is made of 5160 carbon steel with a black oxide coating, providing rust resistance and durability. The thin edge is perfect for precision work, while the thicker middle section and extended handle provide powerful splitting capability. Thanks to the ‘overmolding’ process, the axe head and handle are fused into a robust whole. The handle is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, which absorbs shocks and provides excellent grip. The axe comes with a sturdy Cordura sheath for safe transport.
